National Day Approaches

As do Dan and Rob for a week-long reunion of old drinking pals, many a story will be recounted, about drunken escapades, recollections of great drinking attempts and acheivements and not forgetting fallen friends!

National Day is another Gibraltarian celebration of it's true Britishness. It is held every 10th of September, the same day as the first Gibraltarian Sovereignty Referendum way back in 1967. The people of Gibraltar voted back then, as we did 2 years ago, overwhelmingly to remain British, and National Day is a celebration of the decision.
The streets of Gibraltar turn to a sea of (primarily) Red and White, our national colours, with injections of the Blue of the Union Flag as well as occasionally world wide flags, of people supporting us.
